Sarah Hoefflin, president of Global Transitions, is a certified speech-language pathologist with four years of English teaching experience in Germany. She is the author of Pronouncing American English Vowels: A Guide for Native (Mandarin) Chinese Speakers and co-author of Last Minute German: A Language and Culture Guide for People on the Fly. Sarah earned a B.S. in German Literature from University of Wisconsin-Madison and lived in Freiburg, Germany. She received an M.A. from the University of Minnesota in Communication Disorders and was a U of M Fellow. Sarah has worked exclusively with non-native speakers of English since 2000. She is a member of the: American Speech-Language-Hearing Association German Professional Women's Association Detroit Chinese Business Association TESOL
